課程概述 |
This course introduces the state-of-the-art energy technologies and their development. Subjects including energy generation, storage and conversion technology and related applications are discussed. For example, hydrogen economy, nuclear energy, wind power and solar cells, batteries, and green buildings are among them. Modern pedagogical methods such as fishbowl discussion, brainstorming, mock conference, and debate will be practiced in the class. |
課程目標 |
The goal of this course is to familiar students with modern energy technologies that drive the human civilization. Environmental awareness and social responsibility are embedded in the discussion process along with the course progresses. In addition, we aim to prepare students with abilities of active learning and creative thinking. |
